BB or MitM? Me == unimpressed.

I expect that you guys will win tomorrow. Looks like Spezza will be out as well. You'll have to make your own passes then but I'm sure you can handle it...

(A comment post does not a 'job' make unless you're unemployed and you consider trolling the internet your day job.)

You should.

LeTang clearly pulled on Donovan's jersey to take him down and he never touched the puck. Donovan was ahead of him the entire time on a true breakaway. At a higher resolution you can see the jersey shift as soon as LeTang's glove is on him. Sorry but I don't have a zoom in my editor, but if you download it you can see it as the video is at 720 res. I diasgree with your interpretation and it was obvious the first time I saw it live even before I re-ran the captured video. We are both entitled to our views of course.

I agree, Malkin got tripped up over Redden's bumbling play. But it didn't deserve a penalty shot as he was never on a break away. Redden was in the defensive zone already when Malkin got the puck. The reason they didn't call a tripping penalty on Redden (and they could have) is because he still got a good shot off. Judgement call. That could have gone either way and it was in my team's favor.

Why so many replays? I am a fan (grin), but also I've got video of two views of the Donovan play vs one of the Malkin. Thanks for keeping it real.

After watching that video... do you honestly think that was a penalty on Letang? Really??

It's ok if you do I guess. But you have to admit that they would've had to have to called something on the Malkin one as well (or vice versa since the Malkin break-away was earlier in the game) as opposed to just calling it "iffy."

Look at it objectively. Letang barely touches him. Sure he gets his hand on his side (I don't know if I'd say he grabbed his jersey per se) but it's nothing that's deserving of a penalty. That's even more evident when you watch it in real time.

Also, since I keep asking you to look at it objectively... why so many replays of the Letang play, but only one shot of the Malkin break-away?

C'mon man... you can tell me. Are you just typing this at an attempt to get under our skin?

It's cool if you are. Nothing like some friendly jobbing between two teams fans. Just try to be realistic and objective when looking at the plays.
