Uh Wha-oh!
Damn you Crosby!I can only assume that Alfredsson won’t play on Wednesday. Possibly not even Spezza. And now for the inevitable jobbing from the happy people of thepensblog. Well played boys. Well played.

Worried yet man?

At least you are welcoming the jobbing with open arms! Seriously, though what a game. Thought you guys had us for a sec. Then Gary Roberts punched me to my senses. See yah Wednesday!

I found it interesting that Gary wasn’t playing. That was him I saw grinning madly up in the box with Mario wasn’t it?
Yeah, we were playing nicely until Crosby deflated our sails. Could you see the difference in our team when Alfie was playing?

Not worried Big K, it was always the logical outcome that we would lose this series. We just got our hopes up when we looked like we knew how to play again. That and Alfie playing again. (I doubt he’ll dress on Wednesday.)

Honestly, the only time I noticed “Alfie” on the ice was when Paul Steigerwald announced the fans were giving him a standing ovation for his return to the ice.

Really? I thought he did a good job of playing keep away during the first period on occasion. And it was notable that one of your forwards decided not to nail him when he was waiting at his blue line for the puck and had his back turned to the opposing player. he could have been taken down good then considering he’s already suffering from a concussion.

Well thanks for being a good sport “and welcoming the jobbing”.

Fire Murray.
Trade Spezza.

BK: Yeah Murray is toast as coach. I think he still might be an okay GM, but he’ll have to step up earlier in a season if there are any problems like we experienced this year.
Trade Spezza, Trade Spezza. That’s all I hear. It’s funny, as bad as he is, obviously everyone sees the potential and they all want him. I think we can fix him up.
